Nuremberg - In the Schafhof district of Nuremberg, unknown perpetrators tried last weekend (April 9-12) to gain access to an office complex.

The police are now looking for witnesses who can provide information about the attempted break-in. 

Unknown wanted to break into the Nuremberg office complex: property damage of more than 50,000 euros

The strangers are said to have tried to break into an office complex at Neumeyerstrasse 22-24 between Friday, April 9, 3 p.m. and Monday, April 12, 8 a.m., the Central Franconian police headquarters * wrote in a message.  

The perpetrators tried to pry open the respective fire doors of the six companies located there.

They did not succeed in breaking into the office space, but caused property damage of more than 50,000 euros.

The permanent detective service of the Nuremberg Police * conducted on-site forensic evidence as part of the on-site investigation.

The specialist commissioner of the Nuremberg Criminal Police takes on the further processing of the case. 

The police asks people who have noticed suspicious people or vehicles around the crime scene during the period mentioned to call the number 0911 / 2112-3333.
