The Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform is participating in the Ramadan Charity Market event held by the Ministry of Endowments in the old fairground city of Damascus, with a pavilion selling products for rural families under the title “rural”.
The Director of Rural Development at the Ministry, Dr. Raeda Ayoub, stated in a statement to SANA that the participation includes a variety of municipal estate products from all governorates, including “pomegranate molasses, kiosk, bulgur, figs, ghee, thyme, pickles, vinegar, olives, oil, vegetable and fruit dryers, laurel soap, soap made with medicinal herbs and flowers” and others. One of the products manufactured by the hands of rural families, which bears the originality and heritage of the home country product.
Ayoub explained that the goal of participation is the positive intervention at cost price in a way that achieves benefit to the consumer and the owners of projects and the definition and promotion of their products, indicating the importance of participation in terms of facilitating the arrival of the products of productive families to the largest number of community members during the month of Ramadan.
It is noteworthy that the market continues throughout the month of Ramadan on a daily basis.
