Data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases today showed that the number of Coronavirus cases in Germany increased by 21,693, bringing the total to three million and 4,4016.
The data indicated that 342 people died as a result of infection with the virus, bringing the number of deaths since the start of the pandemic to 79,088.
The Spanish health authorities recorded 100 deaths and 6,292 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
And the Ministry of Health stated in a statement that the total number of recorded infections with the Coronavirus in Spain has reached 3367548 cases since the beginning of the epidemic, while the total deaths reached 76,625 people.
In turn, the health authorities in South Korea announced that 731 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in the last 24 hours.
The South Korean authorities said that they will proceed with the vaccination campaign against Corona after they decided to continue using the AstraZeneca vaccine for all people aged 30 years and over.
On Wednesday, the South Korean authorities stopped the AstraZeneca vaccination for those under the age of 60, after Europe recorded cases of blood clots in adults after they were vaccinated.
