Amman - SANA
Jordan has recorded 9 cases of the two mutated Corona strains discovered in Brazil and South Africa since mid-March.
"Petra" agency quoted Health Minister Firas Al-Hawari as saying today: 4 cases of the Brazilian mutant and 5 of the South African mutant were recorded, and there are two infections from a strain whose effect is unknown.
Al-Hawari added: "10 out of 12 infections did not come from outside, but rather are a product of the natural reproduction of the virus."
The total number of corona cases in Jordan reached 672090 and the deaths reached 7937 cases.
