The policewoman who shot dead a young black man near Minneapolis will be charged with manslaughter, the prosecutor in charge of the case told several American media on Wednesday (April 14th).

The latter, Pete Orput, is expected to quickly publicly announce his decision regarding Kim Potter, 48, who killed 20-year-old Daunte Wright in Brooklyn Center on Sunday, later claiming to have confused his Taser and his service weapon.
The drama, which arose during the trial for the murder of African-American George Floyd, was followed by three nights of protests peppered with violence.
