"
We have not yet appealed, but we will,
" confirmed to AFP Frédéric Burnier-Framboret, who opposes this primary school project carried by the Islamic Confederation Millî Görüs (CIMG), close to Turkey, and which reacted to the government.
In a decision of April 6, the administrative justice canceled the refusal of the building permit, which had been filed in 2019 by the association to establish a school of 400 students in this city of about 20,000 inhabitants.
The court ruled that the reasons given by the town hall, relating in particular to the parking spaces, were not admissible.
"
I only had the means of town planning to counter this permit,
" he explained to France Bleu on Wednesday, "
we are going to review our copy
".
The prefect of Savoy had encouraged him to appeal, judging this project "
separatist
".
In a forum at
Le Figaro on
Friday, Frédéric Burnier-Framboret (without a label) regretted being "
helpless
" to "
counter the installation of associations or companies led by foreign powers, which promote a crystallization of identity in the heart of our territories
".
The government, in response to the situation in Albertville, passed a last-minute amendment to the separatism bill on Monday to allow the prefect to oppose the opening of state-supported non-contract schools foreigner "
hostile
" to the Republic.
"
We do not intend to make a community school, or Islamist
", replied on France Bleu Pays de Savoie Engin Seller, the president of the association Millî Görüs d'Albertville, assuring to have "
nothing to do with Turkey
”.
“
This is not a Turkish, or a religious school.
It's like all the others, which already exist: a denominational school, like Catholics or Jews,
”he continued.
The departmental section of the National Rally called for a rally in front of Albertville town hall on Saturday morning.
