The Court of Cassation confirmed this Wednesday the criminal irresponsibility of the murderer of Sarah Halimi, a Jewish sexagenarian killed in 2017 in Paris, thus confirming the lack of trial for the young man, hospitalized in psychiatry since this crime which provoked debate and emotion for four years.

The highest court of the judicial order rejected the appeal lodged by the family of Sarah Halimi against the decision rendered in 2019 by the Paris Court of Appeal, which had declared the young man criminally irresponsible on the basis of three expert reports according to which he had committed during a "
delusional puff
" on the background of heavy cannabis consumption.
