The scandalous nursing home in Schliersee is again making negative headlines.
Investigators are now also investigating suspected fraud.

In the senior citizens' residence Schliersee, the residents can obviously do that.
The house is idyllically located on the lake of the same name and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains.
But appearances are deceptive.
In 2020, the Schliersee senior citizens' residence hit the headlines.
One resident died a questionable death, and the Public Prosecutor's Office II opened death investigations in 17 cases.
In addition, there are proceedings for various crimes of bodily harm.
And otherwise conditions in the nursing home were obviously unreasonable during the corona pandemic.
Two nurses and a relative described the situation on site.

Now there is another vortex.
On Wednesday, two public prosecutors from the “Bavarian Central Office for Combating Fraud and Corruption in the Health Care System” (ZKG) and officers from the Rosenheim criminal police suddenly stood in front of the door and gained access.
They searched the Schliersee senior citizens' residence on suspicion of billing fraud, reports the

Services that were not provided at all may have been billed to the health insurers.
Investigators examined several computers.
Senior public prosecutor and ZKG head Richard Findl spoke to the

of an enormous effort as a result of the corona pandemic.
The first results of the searches can be expected on the following day at the earliest.
In any case, checking the documents should take several weeks.
Because of the incidents in the Schliersee senior citizens' residence, the President of the Association of Nursing Careers appeals to courageously denounce grievances.
