Eliseo Álvarez resigned as
director of Public TV and vice president of Radio and Television Argentina (RTA)
, although he will continue in his current position until April 30.
Rosario Lufrano's second alleged personal reasons to present his resignation, which has already been communicated to the channel's directors, because his health suffered, after the scandal of the bags with $ 11.4 million that were withdrawn in cash two months ago in the form illegal.
The departure of Eliseo Álvarez was added in the last month to the resignations of
three executives who were displaced
when the scandal with money on Public TV broke out,
along with three others who are prohibited from entering the channel

Those same sources assured that Rosario Lufrano
offered Álvarez to remain as vice president of RTA
, the company that manages Public TV and National Radio, resigning his role as director of Public TV.
"It would have been fewer hours of work, with less pressure. But Eliseo did not accept it, because he made the decision to resign and leave here," added the official sources.
His deterioration coincided with the deepening of the scandal over the withdrawal of three bags with $ 11.4 million in cash from Public TV.
Is that Álvarez was in charge of the management, as director, so he
had the relationship with the different managements and the suppliers of the state channel,
who were harshly questioned for these irregularities.

And the last measure that was known, before the resignation of Eliseo Álvarez, was when last week the Sindicatura General de la Nación (SIGEN) threw out the "militant auditor" of Public TV, Rolando Oreiro, who had to investigate the illegal withdrawal of $ 11.4 million.

The Bicameral Commission for Audiovisual Communication and Telecommunications called a meeting to be held next Tuesday to elect the
two RTA directors who correspond to the opposition.
