After the high temperature of 31.2 degrees Celsius recorded in Hong Kong on Tuesday (13th), today’s temperature dropped significantly and the sky was overcast. The Observatory also predicts that another dry easterly airstream will reach the south China coast early next week, and the sky will improve in the area.

Tomorrow's lowest temperature is 22 degrees Celsius

According to the Observatory’s weather forecast, the minimum temperature in the port of Japan will drop to 22 degrees Celsius. It will be cloudy with one or two rain showers. The rain will be more frequent later on Friday.

The Observatory expects that the sky will be clear next Sunday (18th), and the temperature will range from 21 degrees Celsius to 24 degrees Celsius.

Shuliji intensifies into a super typhoon next Monday

According to the Observatory, at 12 noon, Tropical Storm Shuliji assembled about 140 kilometers south-southwest of Yap Island. It is expected to move slowly to the northwest or north-northwest, generally towards the sea east of the Philippines, and gradually strengthen.

According to the observatory’s forecast path map, Shuliji will intensify into a typhoon on Saturday and a super typhoon on Monday (19th).
