With the participation of more than 120 children, an entertainment activity for children was held at the orphanage headquarters in Al-Waer neighborhood in the city of Homs under the supervision of the Social Affairs and Labor Directorate as part of the Syrian Family Days campaign launched by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.

For more than two hours, the children of the orphanage and the children of the Association for the Care of the Blind and the Visually Impaired enjoyed a number of interactive and entertaining activities that added fun and happiness to their faces.

Dana Al-Droubi, director of the orphanage in Al-Waer neighborhood, indicated in a statement to SANA that the aim of the activity is to enhance the positive spirit and good integration of children by practicing their lives with confidence and love, as the event included competitions between children, a tug of war, face painting, watching and listening to audio stories suitable for blind children. For the visually impaired, a puppet theater show, in addition to the interactive participation of the (Anti-Beauty) youth team by presenting representative clips in it through and with values ​​consistent with the children's intellectual level.

Noura Al-Sharabi, Director of the Educational Center at the Association for the Care of the Blind and Visually Impaired in Homs, indicated that the aim of the association's children meeting with orphaned children is to integrate them and create a positive situation among children through play and entertainment in a family atmosphere full of love and intimacy.

With the aim of educating the young generation about the importance of preserving the environment and reviving social customs and traditional rituals, the (Betty Development) Foundation in Homs revived Al-Siran Al-Homsi, with the participation of about a hundred volunteer youth from different neighborhoods of the city as an expression of the one Syrian family that is always mutually supportive.

According to the head of the (Betty Development) Ziyad Kaswha, the name was given to the walkers (Zaid Ya Asina Zaid) in honor of the Orontes River and its waterways that pass through the orchards of Homs to cultivate goodness and generosity, and it is one of the heritage songs of the city of Homs. .

Kasouha pointed out that the march began from early in the morning and all day long between the groves of Homs and on the banks of the Orontes, and his path was where the magical places that were in the past a destination for all the people of Homs, and today the youth revive the rituals of ancestors and fathers to live the days of intimacy and love. The old ruin bridge across the orchards and access to the Sohail Horse Academy to start the walk and participate in the balance games.
