Traffic jam at the vaccination center in Erding: The Bavaria-wide online registration portal directed too many people who would like to be vaccinated to the facility on Lodererplatz in Erding on Thursday.
Erding - “Too many people wanting to be vaccinated today” reported the BRK Erding for the vaccination center on Lodererplatz on Thursday morning.
The cause of the great rush is to be found in the online registration portal of the Bavarian Vaccination Center.
"Apparently there was a glitch with the automatic scheduling," said BRK press spokeswoman Danuta Pfanzelt.
Different waiting areas would be created on site so that not too many people willing to vaccinate meet or stand together.
In the vaccination center, new appointments would sometimes be made for Friday.
Nevertheless, the Red Cross asks everyone who has an appointment this Thursday to come to the vaccination center.
"If the problem persists in the afternoon, some citizens will also get a new appointment for tomorrow," explains the BRK in the morning.
