Three men suspected of having participated in the assassination of three people whose charred bodies had been discovered in burnt cars, against a backdrop of war between drug traffickers, were indicted in Marseille, the prosecutor's office announced on Thursday April 15.

The first two were indicted for "

They were imprisoned on Monday April 12.

", was taken into custody on Tuesday.
Three other people, also suspected of having participated to varying degrees in these assassinations were on Thursday being brought before the investigating judge in charge of the case.
On December 29, 2020, the charred bodies of two men were discovered inside a burned-out vehicle in a service passage under the A55 motorway in the town of Pennes-Mirabeau, which adjoins Marseille.
On January 6, another body, largely charred, was found in the trunk of a vehicle, also burned down, in the Estaque district (16th arrondissement), in the north of Marseille.
This method of settling scores, described by the police as a “

But the results of the forensic samples and the identification of the three victims killed by bullets, one of whom had already been the subject of two previous attempts to settle accounts, allowed investigators to link the three murders.
The police officers of the criminal brigade of the Marseille judicial police responsible for the investigation also discovered that the victims had been in contact with the occupants of another vehicle on the night of the events, also found burnt down on December 29 in the neighborhood. from L'Estaque.
The investigations quickly oriented the research towards the middle of Marseille narcobanditism where turf wars are rife, said the prosecution.

After three months of investigation, a vast police operation was carried out in Marseille, between April 8 and 12, by men of the criminal brigade and the search and intervention brigade of the PJ of Marseille.
Ten people, perpetrators or accomplices, suspected of having participated to varying degrees in the three assassinations, were arrested in this case.
