During their central meeting today with the Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Talal Al-Barazi, at the Cultural Center in Homs, the directors of internal trade and consumer protection in the governorates emphasized the importance of Legislative Decree No. 8 and its application to protect citizens.

Rami Al-Youssef, Director of Trade and Consumer Protection in Homs, indicated that the provisions of Decree No. 8 began to be applied in Homs and in the coming days, its results will be more on the ground, while Samer Al-Sousi, Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Lattakia, confirmed that in cooperation with the control staff and the Ministry, the decree will be implemented. Fadi Masoud, Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in As-Suwayda confirmed that everything mentioned in this decree is protection for the consumer, citizen and producer. During the meeting held with Al-Barazi at the Chamber of Commerce in Homs, a number of commercial activities pointed out the importance of this decree, with the need to take into account some points and amend them, the most important of which is the postponement of the application of the articles of the legislative decree for a period of three to six months until it is understood by the merchants, citizens and supervisors of supply and taking transportation fees.
