Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi went today (Thursday) to a meeting of regional foreign ministers in the city of Paphos in Cyprus, which will be held for the first time with the participation of the United Arab Emirates.
This is the first meeting of the Forum of the Four Ministers of Israel, Greece, Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates, with the intention of promoting regional strategic interests between the countries, and regularly establishing meetings between Labor and Foreign Ministers.
Minister Ashkenazi and the professional teams are expected to hold bilateral meetings between the countries tomorrow, followed by a square meeting of the four foreign ministers.
The meetings will discuss regional issues and possible cooperation between the countries, with an emphasis on economic, tourism, security issues, the common fight against the corona virus and the 'Green Corridor' outline to encourage tourism between the various countries.
