This is the lesson that everyone can (and will) learn from the judgment of the Court of Cassation of April 14.
This woman has a name, Sarah Halimi, and her only mistake was to be the neighbor of a young man, Muslim, of Malian origin, her neighbor.
A neighbor who had persecuted her for months every time he saw her in the building whose yard he shared.
She was afraid of him, he knew she was Jewish.
What the Jews undergo in France has no equivalent in other Western countries.
What better signal to give to all the anti-Semites that our country harbors?

May the example of Sarah Halimi enable us to reform the laws and prevent assassins from escaping this law.
And to prevent judges from being able to consider that one is responsible for the anti-Semitic nature of a crime, but that one is not responsible for the same crime.
