2021-04-15T11:02:23.420Z

The police were alerted this Thursday morning by a bailiff who discovered a bucket filled with a liquid connected to electrical connections

It was the intervention of a bailiff in an apartment in rue Eugène Sue, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, that triggered a police operation.

The man indeed came across elements which alerted him.

In particular a bucket filled with a liquid connected to electrical connections, a device that calls out to the police present on the scene.

A security perimeter was therefore put in place and two floors of the building urgently evacuated.

The laboratory and the deminers of the Paris police headquarters are on site to determine exactly the nature of this "device".

Writings in Arabic were discovered in the apartment as well as "unidentified handcrafted tools".

According to a police source, a sub-tenant of the building would be on file S.
