Police arrested a 19-year-old from the Occupied Territories yesterday (Wednesday), the suspect who sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl in the Sharon area.
Preliminary investigation reveals that the girl returned from the school where she is studying, got off at a bus stop, crossed an open area on foot and advanced towards her home.
At one point the suspect approached her, had a brief conversation with her and then dragged her aside and sexually assaulted her, touching her hidden organs.
Field station police arrested the suspect shortly after receiving the report.
In his interrogation he actually ties himself.
During the day, the Magistrate's Court in Rishon Lezion will discuss extending his detention.
