Aurélie Vaquier case: this major discovery that alerted the brothers of the young woman

2021-04-18T15:39:34.543Z

By accessing their sister's Facebook account, they realized that her companion Samire L. had lied about the date of her disappearance.

It is an essential element which will perhaps make it possible to clarify certain gray areas in the death of Aurélie Vaquier: a notebook belonging to the thirty-something on which were registered his passwords, in particular the one giving access to his Facebook account. .

It was discovered on February 23 by Jérémy, one of Aurélie Vaquier's three brothers.

That day, when his sister has already been missing for several days, he goes with his partner to Bédarieux (Hérault), to the large apartment on the ground floor where Aurélie lives with her companion Samire.

“My brother and his partner recognized notebooks that my sister used to use, including one that contained her passwords,”

Aurélie Vaquier's half-brother

told

Figaro

Dorian, 24 years old.

Informed of the discovery of this notebook, the gendarmes ask Jérémy and his companion not to connect to Aurélie's Facebook account.

They will finally have permission on February 28.

My brother quickly went to the account but got quite a few messages because many thought my sister was online,

” says Dorian.

I also logged into the account a few days later, with my other brother Kévin, but this time in offline mode

,” he continues.

"A major inconsistency"

By connecting to their sister's Facebook account, the three brothers then discover a “

major inconsistency

”. From the outset, they had indeed believed that she had disappeared on February 13. In any case, this is what Samire had told them on February 15, the day he alerted them to his disappearance. He also told them that Aurélie had sent him a message on Facebook, still on February 13, in which she informed him of his departure. Samire had also sent a "

copy and paste

" of this message, without apparent date, to Jeremy.

However, by connecting to the account, the brothers discover that the message in question was sent not on February 13 ... but on January 28. They then realize that Samire lied to them and that their sister has been missing for much longer than they thought. Sent at 1:30 am on January 28, the message where Aurélie announces her departure is also riddled with mistakes while the young woman has an irreproachable spelling. For the brothers, this message received by Samire was not sent by their sister.

“There were a few fouls that seemed gross. The content of the message may seem coherent, as if it was someone who knows it well, but the time of sending and the writing do not coincide ”

, says Dorian.

Did Samire know the existence of this notebook with the identifiers?

Did he manage to connect to Aurélie's Facebook account?

Did he send a message to himself from his partner's account to make believe in the departure of the young woman?

The investigation should shed light on these questions.

Another strangeness noted by the brothers: the last publications on Aurélie Vaquier's Facebook account, on January 27 and 28, including two which suggest a possible departure to a sect.

The publication times of January 27 and 28 are not like him.

Before January 26, there are 'likes' or comments left and then there are only videos posted,

”says Dorian.

Did Samire post any publications on Aurélie's account to, again, make people believe in her departure?

The investigation will also have to determine this.
