Five people infected with the new Corona virus died after a fire broke out in a hospital specialized in treating patients with the virus in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh.
India Today quoted local police as saying in a statement today: "The fire broke out last night inside the intensive care unit of a private hospital in the city of Raipur, and caused the death of five patients with Coronavirus due to suffocation."
She indicated that the fire was brought under control and the other patients were rescued.
