Forecast: Heavy rain in most parts of the country, fear of fires spreading
The Meteorological Service warns of extreme heat loads in some areas, but noticeable cooling will begin as early as Tuesday.
The National Fire and Rescue Authority has called on the public to refrain from lighting fires in open areas and going on long hiking trails.

Heavy rain in most parts of the country is expected tomorrow (Monday), along with heavy to extreme heat loads - according to the Meteorological Service forecast.
Also, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy.
Relief in the heat loads will be felt starting Tuesday.
Among other things, extreme heat loads are expected in the northern valleys, the Kinneret Valley, the Dead Sea coast, the Jordan Valley and the Arava, and heavy heat loads will be felt in the southern Golan and its slopes, in the Western Galilee, Lower Galilee, Carmel, Ramot Menashe, coastal plain, lowlands Judea and the eastern Negev.
In the northern Golan, in the Upper Galilee, in the central mountains, in the Negev plateau and in the Negev, a moderate heat load is expected.
