Kim Jong-un's big leap back in North Korea

The scene seems to emerge from an improbable "Lucky Luke in the Land of the Soviets". Wrapped up in their anoraks, behind a mountain of multicolored suitcases, the figures huddled in the back of a wooden platform roll painfully on a rusty railroad track through the frozen North Korean countryside, pushed with the force of the wrist . It is by this incongruous means that this family of Russian diplomat stationed in Pyongyang left the “hermit kingdom” in February to join the mother country, for lack of alternative, in full pandemic. Since the outbreak of the Covid, Kim Jong-un has ordered a draconian closure of his country of 24 million inhabitants, more than ever a black box cut off from the world, and overtaken by deprivation. The North Korean "Supreme Leader" has ordered to open fire on anyone crossing the border,for fear of importing into his country, which has no health infrastructure, the mysterious virus that strikes the poor indiscriminately
