Iranian President Hassan Rouhani affirmed that the return of the United States to the nuclear agreement and the lifting of its illegal sanctions on the Iranian people will create a new environment for Iran's economic cooperation with the world.
During his meeting with Serbian Foreign Minister Nikola Silakovic in Tehran today, Rouhani said, “With the changes that have taken place on the international scene and the new US administration’s desire to return to the nuclear agreement and to fully lift the embargo on Iran, there is a new environment that will be available for Iran's economic cooperation with the world and it is better for friendly countries to Trying to take advantage of this opportunity ”.
Rouhani referred to the need for Tehran and Belgrade to seek to develop and deepen relations in various political, economic and commercial fields and to strengthen international cooperation, reiterating his country's support for Serbia's national unity while preserving peace, stability and security in the Balkans.
For his part, the Serbian Foreign Minister said that his country "is determined to establish friendly relations with Iran, and it has always supported the nuclear agreement and the peaceful objectives of the Iranian nuclear program and hopes that the problems related to this international agreement will be resolved as soon as possible."
