The city of Bad Tölz took part in the nationwide commemoration for the victims of the corona pandemic on Sunday.
The flags at the town hall waved at half-mast.
In addition, the mayor and the senior representative of the city council, Ulrike Bomhard, attended various services.

Town Hall chief Ingo Mehner was with the Old Catholics in the Franciscan Church.
Third Mayor Christof Botzenhart showed his sympathy in the parish church, Ulrike Bomhard attended the Protestant service in the Johanneskirche.
Second Mayor Michael Lindmair is coming to the Mevlana Mosque to commemorate the event on Friday.
"Corona is beyond our imagination," said Bomhard.
After more than a year of the pandemic, many could no longer imagine a return to normalcy.
"Corona has changed our way of life, our interpersonal behavior, our professional world too much," said Bomhard.
"And our children in particular are very despondent and ask whether this corona will stop again."
Around 80,000 deaths nationwide from or with Corona are now to be lamented. So far 65 people have died in connection with the virus in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district. “Everyone was a unique personality. Everyone leaves family members and friends, ”said Bomhard.
The city also includes those who suffer from and with Corona in the commemoration. “The bereaved who hope for consolation. The sick who fear lonely. The cautious who avoid contact and feel isolation. Children and adolescents whose psychological stress we may not yet be able to foresee. Caregivers who go to their limits and often far beyond them. The pandemic has made many victims, "said a press release from the city. Right now everyone is called upon to “turn to one another with consideration and patience and to be there for one another,” said Bomhard. "Because only if we stand together can we take the horror of the pandemic away."
