Two people were wounded by rocket-propelled grenades that hit Balad Air Force Base, which includes US forces, in Salah al-Din Governorate, northern Iraq.
The Iraqi News Agency quoted the commander of Balad Air Base, Major General Pilot Zia Mohsen, as saying, "Rocket shells landed inside the base today, wounding two people."
Meanwhile, a security source told France Press that two missiles landed on facilities belonging to American companies that are maintaining F-16 aircraft.
