The government announced that 10 people were unwell after the injection yesterday (19th). A 47-year-old woman experienced palpitations, headaches and finger palsy after receiving the first dose of Kexing at the General Outpatient Clinic in Tseung Kwan O (Po Ning Road). He was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital at 10:54. He was in stable condition and was discharged after treatment.

In addition, two more people developed heart palpitations, including a 45-year-old woman who received the second dose of Kexing, and a 59-year-old man who received the first dose of Fubital. Both were in stable condition. The 45-year-old woman was discharged after treatment. The 59-year-old man was discharged on his own without following the doctor’s advice.

There were also two people with vasovagal fainting, including a 23-year-old man who received the first dose of Fubitel and a 29-year-old woman who also received the first dose of Fubitel.

The remaining uncomfortable cases include a 58-year-old woman with chest discomfort and high blood pressure, a 47-year-old woman with chest discomfort, a 72-year-old woman with dizziness and chest discomfort, and a 29-year-old man with dizziness.

A 68-year-old man developed tinnitus and dizziness after receiving the second dose of Kexing at the Community Vaccination Center of the Central Library. After being sent to Ruttonjee Hospital, he left the hospital without consultation.

In terms of vaccination data, 4,600 citizens received the first dose of Kexing vaccine yesterday; 12,600 people received the first dose of Fubitai vaccine.

The second shots of Kexing and Fubitai were vaccinated in 8,600 and 200 people, respectively, and the vaccination rates were 97% and 95%, respectively.

The number of appointments for vaccination of Kexing and Fubitai were 3,100 and 14,000 respectively.

The government also announced that the Hospital Authority will add 3 outpatient clinics to provide public vaccination services, including Shau Kei Wan Jockey Club General Outpatient Clinic, Hung Hom Clinic, and Berkley General Outpatient Clinic.
