Dr. Ibrahim indicated in a statement to Sana that there are currently 38 patients in the hospital, 11 of them in intensive care and 27 in the isolation department, most of them with respiratory symptoms, indicating that the most prominent complication of corona infection is the occurrence of myocardial infarction.

The hospital’s capacity in terms of accepting suspected Corona cases reaches 85 beds distributed into the isolation and intensive care departments, according to Dr. Ibrahim, who confirmed that the hospital’s health personnel are fully prepared to receive any case, and the hospital has all the necessary medicines and oxygen.

Ibrahim stressed the need to seek medical advice immediately after feeling any symptom of infection with the virus, because delay leads to the development of the situation and the severity of symptoms and the patient’s arrival at times in critical cases, stressing the importance of adhering to preventive measures such as wearing the muzzle, continuous sterilization and maintaining spatial distancing, which contributes to reducing infection and the spread of the virus.
