The General Organization for Food Industries announced reductions on the prices of the products of its subsidiaries at rates ranging between 15 and 25 percent over the prices of their counterparts in the market, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Director General of the Foundation Reem analyzed it to me in a statement to the representative of SANA that these reductions come within the framework of the positive intervention of the corporation and its companies in the local market and alleviate the burden of high prices on citizens, indicating that the reduced products include (dairy, cheese, oils, canned vegetables, canned food, and vegetable drying products) and they are available. For his part, the General Manager of the Syrian Arab Dairy Company in Damascus (Damascus Dairy) Hamza Mohsen announced in a similar statement that a group of their traditional and new products will be offered at cost price in the halls of the Food Industries Corporation, company outlets and the foundation's wing in the currently established Ramadan charitable market.
Mohsen stated that their products include (milk, labneh, cheese of all kinds, ghee and butter of different weights), where the price of one kilogram of canned labneh is 6 thousand Syrian pounds, canned milk is 2200 pounds, Akkawi cheese is 8500 pounds, kashkawan cheese is 14 for a thousand pounds, cow fat is 24 thousand pounds, and cooked cheese is 6 thousand pounds. Butter blades 32 thousand liras, al-Shallal cheese 10 thousand liras, halloumi cheese 11 thousand liras, Quraishah 1500 liras, Labneh Dokma 3500 liras, a bottle of sterilized milk half a liter is 950 liras and a 200 g cow butter mold is 4400 liras.
Ali Jumaa, a representative of the commercial company participating in the Ramadan charitable market with the products of the Damascus Dairy Company, indicated that the company's products are sold in the market at the price of the factory land and with discounts of some products reaching more than 25 percent, pointing to the distinctive demand for the company's products due to the quality they enjoy and the reductions in their prices. .
