Three men from the same family were sentenced Tuesday, April 20 to 15 months in prison for the assault in March of a teacher from Laon, worried about the absenteeism of a child of their family, said the prosecution de Laon and the victim's lawyer.

The father of the child and two uncles were found guilty of violence in meetings on the teacher, and violation of the school premises, told AFP Me Alexandre Martin. The mother and grandmother, who also appeared, were sentenced to 105 hours of community service for their intrusion into the school.
The facts took place on March 22 following an exchange between the mother of a kindergarten student and the teacher "

", explained the prosecutor of Laon Guillaume Donnadieu. After this exchange in front of the Hélène-Boucher school, the mother came back accompanied by her relatives to ask that the child be returned to them, which the management had accepted but asking for a discharge. Against a background of "
growing incomprehension
", the family entered the school and attacked the teacher.
The teacher, 59 years old and kicked and punched according to his lawyer, was issued a two-day ITT. Me Martin hailed a decision "
which is not symbolic
" and constitutes "
a response commensurate with the seriousness of the facts
". No history of violence was reported by the school for this family. Denouncing an "
unacceptable physical assault
", the prefect of Aisne Ziad Khoury, had at the time of the facts called "
for the greatest firmness in the face of such unacceptable behavior
".
