This favorite dish of the Cypriots is eaten in all sauces, salty and sweet: grilled, on a skewer, or with honey.
Halloumi is fairly high in calories (300 calories per 100 grams) but contains only 3% salt and Europeans love it.
It is found in all balanced diets and has become the darling of vegetarians, who substitute it for meat.
