A 26-year-old young man died in Mar del Plata after suffering a shock when he touched a perimeter fence electrified with 220 with which he protected a marijuana plantation.
The victim, identified as Marcos Mayorga, died on Sunday afternoon after coming into contact with the power line that surrounded 17 marijuana plants that he had in the backyard of his house.
Police sources told

that the man vanished at the scene when he tried to drive away an 11-year-old boy who had approached the plantation, and that after the unloading he was carried by two friends in the back of a truck.

On the way to a health center, relatives of Mayorga, known by the nickname "Tibu", intercepted an ambulance that was passing through the area.
The unit doctor confirmed that he had died, so police personnel from the 3rd police station were intervened.

surrounding the plants in the background.
The skills
Firefighters worked at the site to be able to cut the power line, and the case was left in the hands of the Functional Instruction Unit 6, in charge of the prosecutor Juan Pablo Lódola, who initiated a case for "
investigation of causes of death
."
Lódola also opened an investigation for "
culpable injuries
", since the boy who had approached the place also suffered a slight shock when he came into contact with the electrified fence.
In addition, the Narcotics Prosecutor Leandro Favaro intervened, who ordered the seizure of the marijuana plants found.
