The leaderships of Hezbollah and the Amal Movement in Lebanon condemned the continuous Israeli attacks and violations of the Lebanese airspace and the Lebanese sovereignty on land, sea and air, and their use as a platform for aggression against Syria.
In a joint statement after a meeting in southern Lebanon today, the two leaders reaffirmed their adherence to the option of resistance in Lebanon, in terms of approach, culture and weapons alongside the army and the people, and stressed that resistance remains a national need more than ever before to curb Israeli aggression towards Lebanon and protect its wealth.
The statement stressed the need to expedite the removal of all obstacles that prevent the achievement of a government capable of achieving reforms, fighting corruption and meeting the aspirations of the Lebanese to establish a state of law and institutions, away from the logic of narrow personal interests.
