In Jerusalem, it is believed that Muhammad Kaka, the son and successor of Idris Debbie, will continue in the line of his father, who was a pioneer of normalization with Israel.

A few hours after the death of Chadian President Idris Debbie, power was transferred to his son, Muhammad Kaka, who had previously served as a general in the Chadian army.
In Israel, they sadly accepted the sudden death of Debbie, who is defined in the political system as a brave president who dared to renew ties with Israel.
The National Security Staff (National Security Agency), which is responsible for relations between Israel and Chad, is closely monitoring the situation there.
Prime Minister Netanyahu, who was in constant contact with Debbie, issued a condolence statement in Arabic and English on his death.

Political sources in Israel noted that Chad was the first Muslim country in the region to launch a process of normalization with Israel, a step that later marked the way for more countries.
Israel Today has learned that the heads of Muslim and Arab states, who were considering establishing ties with Israel, consulted with Debbie before making the decision and that his recommendation was positive.
Jerusalem also believes that the success of the process with Chad has encouraged other countries to strengthen ties with Israel.
