Minister Yaakov Litzman (Torah Judaism) said today (Tuesday) that no government will be formed and Israel will go to the polls again.

After yesterday's drama in the Knesset and the victory of the "Bloc of Change" in the vote on the composition of the organizing committee, the Minister of Construction and Housing said at the corporate conference at the Herods Hotel in Eilat: "There will be a fifth election. Unequivocally, I'm not going to sit with them, only with Netanyahu.

"It will take another week or a month and there will be a fifth election. Our members of the Council of Torah Scholars said there will be no coalition with Lapid. We are with Netanyahu until the end."

Litzman's friend of Torah Judaism, MK Moshe Gafni (Degel HaTorah faction versus Litzman, who belongs to the Agudat Yisrael faction - RZ), also said similar things this morning in an interview here. "We are not zigzagging, if the Likud goes into opposition - we will go to the opposition."

Also yesterday at the end of the faction's meeting, MK Gafni said that his party will march with Netanyahu to the opposition and also to the fifth election. Gafni is scheduled to meet next week with the chairman of Yesh Atid, MK Yair Lapid, a meeting that has not been the same for years. It does not appear that this meeting will lead to too dramatic developments.
