They immediately fled on foot and managed to escape him.
The attacker, who held a serrated knife, about thirty centimeters long used to cut the plasterboard in the building, is overpowered by other members of the community, with difficulty.
He was then handed over to a police crew and taken into custody.

At the end of his police custody, the man who acted in a pronounced state of intoxication, was referred to the Pontoise public prosecutor's office which opened a judicial investigation for "threat with a weapon", without however retaining the anti-Semitic character. aggression, there is nothing to establish it. The prosecution, which had requested that he be placed in pre-trial detention, appealed against this decision.
