Beirut-Sana

The General Secretariat of the General Conference of Arab Parties condemned the brutal practices and violations committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian prisoners in the Zionist prisons, calling for the immediate release of all of them.

The Secretary-General of the Conference, Qassem Saleh, on the anniversary of the Palestinian Prisoners' Day, which falls on the seventeenth of April of each year, confirmed in a statement today that the illegal criminal practices of the Zionist occupation forces inside their prisons and the racist measures they take are an integral part of the declared war on the Palestinian people and their prisoners of war.

Saleh called on all the states parties contracting to the Geneva Conventions of 1949 to put pressure on the occupation authorities to release the prisoners, especially the sick and elderly, as well as women, minor children, and old prisoners, especially in light of the seriousness of the conditions in which the prisoners live and the Zionist occupation authorities ignoring the warnings and demands of the prisoners and organizations. Competent international.

Saleh pointed to the policy of deliberate medical negligence pursued by the occupation forces against the prisoners in their detention centers, especially with the outbreak of the Corona epidemic and the failure of the occupation authorities to provide the necessary protection tools and supplies necessary to prevent the spread of the virus among the prisoners.
