The researcher in the revolution of Sheikh Saleh Al-Ali Shaheen Shaheen said in a statement to SANA that today's celebration from the great mujahid’s stronghold is of high value, as he fired from this place the first bullet in the face of the French colonialist, holding his face with his mujahideen comrades for about three and a half years, inflicting heavy losses on them, considering that Celebrating this fighter is a message to assure the world of our adherence to these values ​​and our continued defense and preservation of the homeland.

Artisans and plastic artists expressed their pride in this participation, which means a lot to them, as mentioned by craftsman Alaa Zahra, who participated in some wooden sculptures in order to recall the sacrifices made by the great Mujahideen, while craftsman Nazmeh Ismail showed her keenness to participate permanently since the launch of the festival to revive the heritage of the craft of making pots and paintings from bamboo Especially since it is part of an event that has a moral value in the hearts of Syrians.

The craftsman, Roger Ibrahim, participated in a group of paintings made from the silk cocoon, especially as it was one of the works that Sheikh Saleh Al-Ali worked in, in addition to the handkerchiefs made of silk thread, describing its participation, along with other heritage works in the stronghold of the Mujahid al-Most High, with the heritage message of the current generation and beyond to preserve the legacy Their grandparents with everything in it.

Fine artist Hassan Mohamed considered his participation in a sculptural work on this occasion as a dedication to the sublime values ​​of our material, moral, human and heroic history, while the plastic artist Khalil Bilal found that the name of the great mujahid is present and firmly in our minds and minds that cannot be forgotten by what he and his comrades presented to our country.

A number of poets also participated in the poetry festival that was held within the occasion, presenting some of their literary works that embody the national meanings and values, including the poet Linda Ibrahim, where she emphasized the importance of participation in the revival of a bright occasion for the great fighter and his companions throughout the Syrian geography and who made with their blood and souls glory and evacuation, while the poet Mahmoud Habib to participate in the festival since its first year, stressing that we carry our poems every year to form a single poet glorifying our nation and its struggle and the embodiment of our heroic men and leaders of the revolution against the occupier to this day.

The Talaia Al-Baath group presented singing artistic performances and popular arts, dancing to the tune of patriotic songs.

The opening ceremony of the festival and the activities of the first day were attended by the governor of Tartous, lawyer Safwan Abu Saadi, the secretary of the party branch Muhammad Habib Hussein, the police commander Brigadier General Musa Hasoud al-Jasem, the general lawyer Haitham Harfoush, the city council president Judge Muhammad Zain, the president and members of the governorate council, and a number of government departments directors in addition to a large popular crowd The people of the area.
