The migrant crisis on the southern US border appears to be endless. Between December 2020 and February 2021, the Border Patrol recorded a 337% increase in the number of families found on the southern border of the country.

And the facilities to house immigrants held at the border are beyond their capacity, registering "deep overcrowding" in places for unaccompanied children. Why are migration numbers not decreasing?
