Nuremberg - On Saturday evening (April 17th) the Nuremberg * police broke up an illegal mass party on the A73, at which around 70 young people had gathered to celebrate.

However, the officers could not record all of the personal details.

According to a message, the police in Middle Franconia * received several calls and information about a large crowd around the edge of the forest on the A73 motorway on Saturday.

The officers met around 70 young people on site, who celebrated exuberantly - and without adhering to any contact and hygiene rules.

A scene that was reminiscent of times before the corona pandemic *. 

Shortly after the police officers arrived, numerous young people managed to flee through the forest in different directions.

In the end, the officers were only able to record the personal details of five of the people involved.

This now expects a report according to the Infection Protection Act.

In a Facebook post, the Middle Franconia police turned to all citizens again on Monday (April 19) and asked them to abide by the rules.

"We understand very well that young people in particular want to finally meet up with their peers again," the text says.

“Nevertheless, we cannot turn a blind eye to the current infection situation.” The police also wrote: “The regulations are clear and are consistently enforced by our colleagues.

Please help to end this pandemic through your restraint.
