After two years of technological, content and physical work, and on the occasion of Jerusalem Day 2021 - The Western Wall Heritage Foundation will officially launch the 'Chain of Generations' Center on May 9 (Jerusalem Day Eve) - an exciting and special exhibition near the Western Wall plaza Western.
The work on the center - established with the donation of Mortimor B. Zuckerman to the credit of his daughters Abigail and Rene Zuckerman, as well as the donation of Yitzhak and Ruth Renert - included creating quality content, combining advanced and unique technological means and setting up visiting spaces to make the exhibition an unforgettable personal experience.
The center produces a unique underground experience near the Western Wall that is divided into six main spaces, which include an exciting and connecting journey using unique and advanced technology presented by singer and creator Eviatar Banai with musical arrangements by Assaf Amdursky.
More than 12 million visitors from Israel and around the world come every year to the Western Wall and the nearby tourist sites.
This year, in the shadow of the corona, most of the Western Wall's activities and the sites of the Western Wall tunnels took place from a distance, during which time the Western Wall Heritage Foundation worked on upgrading the Western Wall plaza, the sites and services for visitors.
