The federal government has deployed a protocol in Mexico to protect the integrity of the candidates who aspire to a position in the midterm elections to be held on June 6, and which is threatened in some cases by the presence of crime groups organized crime and white-collar crime that seek to co-opt candidates to expand their influence and power, according to Mexican authorities.
