The FCA Unterbruck takes a big hit and receives broad support from the Fahrenzhausen municipal council.

A dream could come true.

Fahrenzhausen

- FCA Unterbruck has been thinking about a hall on the sports grounds for a long time because the club had to move to the neighboring communities in the winter months.

This ranged from the indoor training of the footballers to the tennis lessons of the various teams.

In addition, the board of directors made it clear that the club could set up new departments with its own hall for sports that had not yet been offered.

The hall on the FCA sports grounds offers a whole list of advantages

The FCA Unterbruck submitted a drawing to the municipal council in which two tennis courts and part of a rarely used parking lot for the hall are to give way in front of the main entrance of the sports center.

Several arguments are listed as advantages in the application.

The land is already owned by the municipality and the infrastructure of the clubhouse can also be used.

The FCA Unterbruck argues that the club could act as a builder and that subsidies from the Bavarian State Sports Association (BLSV) could come.

Thus, the construction would be cheaper for the community and would not bind the building authority that is busy with the new town hall.

The FCA is looking at the upcoming construction of the more than 40-year-old school gymnasium over the next few years.

During the construction period, school sports could then be relocated to the FCA hall.

Some calculations were also made during the meeting. Mayor Heinrich Stadlbauer warned that the community participation must be below 50 percent of the costs so that the association is not bound by public procurement law. "That is feasible," said local councilor Christian Kislinger (treasurer of the FCA). 20 percent subsidy and ten percent interest-free loan beckon at the BLSV. He also points out that the association has financially completed the latest construction work such as the new floodlight system: “Everything has been paid for and we can lift an adequate portion of the hall ourselves.” A hall should cost at least two million euros.

The reaction from Mayor Heinrich Stadlbauer was eagerly awaited, who is said to have not been particularly enthusiastic about the application in the past. In the meeting he supported the association: “The need is there. We welcome the suggestion. ”Stadlbauer also received feedback from the school that with several four-year grades the hall requirements for school sports would increase.

In the lively debate in the municipal council, however, there was a counter-motion from Evi Stocker and Renate Selmeier, both of whom belong to Stadlbauer's list of citizens.

They wanted to prevent a hall vote and set up a working group to determine the need for two halls.

The two ladies and the mayor clearly lost the vote with 3:16 votes.

2. Mayor Andreas Karl said that one should let the FCA do it now.

That's exactly how it turned out.

The local council gave the association the green light to be able to work out a concrete concept with the existing needs, the size and a cost estimate.

The club committee wants to start the machinery this week.

FCA Unterbruck doesn’t want to waste any more time on the way to what may be their greatest dream.
