The office of Legislative Council Member Junyao Ho in Tsuen Wan was vandalized the day after the attack on the man in white on July 21 the previous year. The defendant Zhu Peiheng (20 years old) was charged with damaging the glass wall belonging to He Junyao's office at Tsuen Fung Center on July 22, 2019.

After he pleaded guilty, he was sentenced to a probation order for 12 months. The Attorney General then filed a review with the trial magistrate Wen Shaoming, who changed his sentence to a social service order for 200 hours.

The Department of Justice still considered that it was not enough, and then asked the Court of Appeal for a sentence review. The Court of Appeal had overturned the original magistrate’s sentence and found it to be obviously too light, and requested reports from the detention center, rehabilitation center, and training center for the defendant. The sentence is now changed , And said that in the future, an explanation of the judgment will be issued.

The defendant wrote an apology letter to He Junyao earlier, saying that he was extremely sorry and guilty for committing the crime because of naivety and impulse.

He Junyao also said that he accepted his apology, and wrote in his reply that the juvenile was misguided to destroy his proposal.
