To fight against sexual violence and abuses, the pornography sector wants to get involved through an ethical charter,

Faced with many cases of sexual violence and breach of contract, the world of pornography is trying to organize and clean up.

This is the ambition of a code of ethics published on Wednesday.

A text initiated by the production company Dorcel lists 18 recommendations after four months of work with a panel of around fifty professionals in the sector.

All under the authority of the ex-actress of X Liza Del Sierra;

sociologist Alexandre Duclos and a lawyer, Matthieu Cordelier.

The text is offered to all producers of adult films.

Described as "the keystone" of this text, the contract must return to the heart of the porn system: "All actions (sex and comedy scenes, number of partners, sexual practices) and wages or salaries are defined at the advance with the actor / actress are fixed in a contract.

The contract is signed before filming within a time frame that allows for serene reflection ”.

The objective is to put an end to current practices consisting in demanding changes during filming even if it means exerting pressure or financial blackmail.

The recommendations also come back to the respect of hygiene rules and the systematization of health tests.

Recourse to a trusted third party is also recommended to "ensure a function of mediation, advice and support" for actors and actors as well as "respect for consent, privacy and sanitary conditions".

The text also offers specific support for beginners in order to “inform them of the existence of the charter, of its content, of the minimum legal remuneration […] and of the social, professional and family consequences of the exposure of their image, in particular on the web and social networks ”.

It is also proposed to be invited to attend a shoot before participating in it yourself.

“Dorcel has always been attached to the protection of minors and to quality and responsible X-production […] We are committed today to implementing the principles of this charter and to respecting its values and ethics, writes Grégory Dorcel, the president of the production company. We hope that these proposals will bring together all the protagonists of the sector in France and then abroad ”.
