The verdict in the case of the police officers attacked in Viry-Châtillon in 2016 does not cease to be talked about.
Invited on RTL this Wednesday, April 21, the Minister of Justice Éric Dupond-Moretti was obviously questioned on the subject.
The journalist asked him in particular if, as one of the defense lawyers wishes, he would receive the young people who were acquitted at the end of the appeal trial.

"I will not receive the acquitted,"
replied the Keeper of the Seals clearly.
"It would be interpreted anyway, and misinterpreted."
For his part, the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, will receive next Saturday the police officers injured in the 2016 attack. However, he specified that he did not

demonstrations”
organized on Tuesday by several unions of police officers
"in front of the institutions"
in Paris, Lyon, Lille, Montpellier, Toulouse, Orléans and even Rennes.

A storm of protests indeed followed the verdict pronounced last weekend, after six weeks of appeal and fourteen hours of deliberation. Five young people were found guilty of attempted murder on the police and sentenced to terms ranging from 6 to 18 years in prison. Eight others were acquitted in
