A girl walked in shock along the Rambla de Mar del Plata: the mother and her partner were arrested for sexual abuse

A man and his partner were arrested today in the city of Mar del Plata, accused of the

sexual abuse

of a daughter of the woman, a minor who was assisted while walking half naked and in shock on the Rambla, police sources indicated and judicial.

The presence of the minor wandering disoriented along the coastal promenade was noticed minutes before 10 o'clock through a call to the 911 Emergency Center, and personnel from the Patrol Command found her while she was circulating without clothes, covered

with a bloody blanket.

A police source indicated that the minor "was

in a state of shock

, did not speak, and could only say her name and that she was 17 years old."

Due to her condition, the young woman was

immediately transferred

in a patrol car to the Hospital Interzonal General de Agudos, where personnel from the Police Station for Women and the Family intervened to provide restraint.

Simultaneously, members of the Casino Sub-Police Station worked in the Rambla area, and were able to establish that the minor had left a building located in front of the coast, which has security cameras.

Through the analysis of the images, it was determined that the girl had gone out alone into the street after descending from an elevator, and testimonies were obtained from neighbors that indicated that she lived there with

her mother and stepfather

.

In another sequence captured by the cameras, it was observed that the three had entered the building on Tuesday night.

"The same neighbors stated that

the man used to appear in underwear

in the corridors of the building, and that they knew that the woman had already been denounced on other occasions for mistreatment of another of the children," the sources indicated.

After the intervention in the case of the prosecutor Leandro Arévalo, head of the Functional Unit of Instruction 7, a slogan was arranged in the place to find the whereabouts of the 47-year-old woman and the 52-year-old man, who had left the property.

The couple was located minutes later by other troops a few blocks away, in Plaza Colón, and

their arrest was ordered

, as well as a search of the apartment from which the minor had fled.

The Scientific Police intervened in the house, seizing

underwear and bandages with blood stains

, clothing, and blood and semen samples.

The prosecutor ordered the arrest of the couple for the crime of "

aggravated sexual abuse

because the victim was a minor and because of the coexistence situation."

The man was transferred to the Penal Unit 44 of Batán, while the woman was housed in the Women's Detachment.
