For the second time, the air defenses in the Syrian Arab Army responded this month to an Israeli missile attack on points in the vicinity of Damascus, and most of them fell.

The aggression carried out by the occupation entity at dawn today with bursts of rockets from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, the results of which came to almost zero to destroy most of the missiles by our air defense media. About this, the military and strategic expert, retired Brigadier General Haitham Hassoun says, “Our air defense media managed ably to counter most of the missiles, and one of them exceeded its air target. He reached the Negev region deep in the occupied Palestinian territories, and caused an explosion and the occupation entity sounded alarm sirens.

Hassoun pointed out that “after the missile penetrated the so-called Iron Dome of the enemy, this could be a wake-up call for him, and perhaps this will prompt him to review his foolish decisions that he is promoting under false pretenses,” noting that “the political and military goals that the Zionist enemy seeks from behind the repeated attacks have not been and will not be achieved. And it comes in the context of the ongoing process of tension and provocation, and desperate attempts to influence the capabilities of the Syrian Arab Army.

For his part, Russian military and political analyst Vladimir Yevseev believes that “Israel's perpetration of a new missile aggression on Syrian territory is a blatant violation of the principles of international law, which are terrorist acts that must be condemned by the international community,” affirming that “these Israeli crimes are not limited to targeting the military, but also affecting the population. Civilians ”.

Yevseev points out that "the Syrian air defense media effectively dealt with the Israeli missile bursts, and most of them fell before they reached their targets."

The general coordinator of the Egyptian People's Committee for Solidarity with the Syrian People, Hisham Lotfi, said, "The aggression comes within the framework of the enemies of Syria's desire to stop the constitutional entitlement and impose their pressure to control the Syrian decision, which is part of a decade-long conspiracy to impose hegemony on Syria."

Military and strategic expert, retired Brigadier General Ali Maqsoud pointed out that "the aggression also came to stop the collapse in the morale of terrorists and the Israeli occupation forces, especially after the specific airstrikes of ISIS training camp in northern Palmyra, killing 200 terrorists and destroying 24 four-wheel drive vehicles."

Regarding the state of confusion experienced by the entity’s leaders and its media, Maqsoud says, “The penetration of a missile from the Syrian air defenses into the airspace of occupied Palestine from its north to its south put the media of the Israeli occupation entity in a state of confusion, as he initially spoke about the missile coming from the Gaza Strip before he acknowledged that the sounds of explosions. In the Negev, as a result of the air defenses' response to the penetrating missiles from Syria or Lebanon.

Maqsoud added, "The resistance axis's response on all fronts, including the destruction of the Mossad headquarters at the Erbil base of the international coalition, and the killing of those in it carries a clear message of the permanent readiness of the resistance axis."
