Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn (CDU) speaks on Thursday in a 30-minute live interview with Germany's youngest vaccination center boss, Liam Klages from Ebersberg.

Ebersberg

- The corona vaccination campaign in Germany is progressing.

After initial difficulties, an average of around 550,000 doses are inoculated every day.

Bavaria is in the top third in Germany-wide comparison when it comes to vaccination speed.

Liam Klages has been there from the start.

The 21-year-old from Pullach in the Isar valley is probably Germany's youngest vaccination center boss.

His area is the Ebersberg vaccination center, where around 90 employees report to him.

One of the few people who know the access code is Liam Klages, the boss in the house.

Jens Spahn in a live interview on Instagram: Health Minister asks questions from the boss of the vaccination center

Tonight, Klages will have the opportunity to interview his “top boss”.

His employees are of course very interested in how long the vaccination centers in Germany will still be open - and whether a replacement by general practitioners or another structure is planned.

He said that to the editorial office in the morning.

In addition, the Ebersberg vaccination center boss has considered other questions - but will certainly be able to count on counter questions from the minister.

. This also made the health minister aware of him and invited him to the social media talk, says Klages. When asked how he perceives his sudden fame, Klages says: “I am delighted when my eyes are directed towards Ebersberg and the topic of vaccination in general.” However, he does not feel like a “media star”.

The subject of vaccination is still very explosive, not only in the Free State.

It was not until Thursday morning that it became known that vaccination prioritization in Germany could soon be lifted.

Due to the initial confusion about the exact allocation of the vaccine groups and the rejection of many people to the vaccine from the pharmaceutical manufacturer Astrazeneca, many people who would willingly get vaccinated against the coronavirus would probably welcome this regulation.

However, Spahn (CDU) may also have to ask critical questions.

At the beginning of the year, the health minister had to take sharp criticism for failures in procuring vaccines for Germany and for the bureaucratic organization of its distribution.
