Welcome
” written on them, others brought balloons.
And, unsurprisingly, when the passengers of the first Auckland-Sydney flight finally leave the terminal, the emotion is palpable.

Oh, my darling!
But you have grown up so much that you are beautiful,
”a grandmother exclaims when she sees a little girl running, her parents, almost a tear in her eye, a few steps behind.
For most of the passengers on this flight, this is the first time since March 2020 that they have been able to travel to Australia and simply leave New Zealand.
Katie is past the age of running to jump into her parents' arms.
Nevertheless, for this young woman living in a small town in New Zealand, the joy of seeing them again is immense.
