After the violence against the police in Nanterre last week and, in the same register, incidents in Sèvres on the night of Tuesday to last Wednesday, the prefect of Hauts-de-Seine prohibits the acquisition, the detention and the use of fireworks and pyrotechnics by decree, taken this Thursday.
"The police services have noted a strong increase in recent weeks of use of mortars and fireworks during clashes in several municipalities of the Hauts-de-Seine department", is it justified in the decree, which runs until May 24.

Still this Thursday, a teenager and a very young man must be brought to the prosecution for throwing a molotov cocktail at a police officer and in the direction of the Sèvres police station.
It was around two in the morning on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday when the few officials then present at the police station heard the explosion of molotov cocktails.
On leaving the building immediately, they discovered the debris of the incendiary devices, made from small bottles of beer, on the sidewalk bordering the establishment.
A policeman had to take cover behind a car
The police set off in pursuit of the group of young people still there.
One of them then threw one of these small bottles ready to explode towards one of the officials, who took cover behind a parked car to avoid it.
In all, four Molotov cocktails were thrown in front of the police station.
Of the five young people arrested, three were released for lack of evidence.
The other two, aged 14 and 18, were taken into police custody before their presentation to the prosecution on Thursday.
Last week, it was in Nanterre that tensions were high.
For three nights, a small group fired fireworks mortars in the direction of the police.
Four of them were tried and sentenced for immediate appearance on Tuesday.
